Writer Intations

   The many reasons why I started to write is because I had a lot to say and no one to speak to. When I arrived to the United States it was a crazy cycle and to many life events happened from a young age that I could not keep up with all of it. Since my mother was in Brasil and I in the United States she always sent me diary and journals and from there I built a writers foundation of writing how I feel because at that time I could only speak Portuguese and I did not feel comfortable talking to my father. Later in middle school and high school I discovered poetry and fell in love with the genre. The words and how a person may have to critically assess a each world was mind blowing to me. In my pieces I have shared about of my life a and experiences that has made me who I am today. I am also thankful that my creative writing has took me out of my comfort zone and I experienced other genres as well. Finally, writing is for is a sense of peace and joy and I can deferentially say that actually loved creative writing and hope to keep this blog going.
